Position Summary
Bounty Club is seeking a skilled and dependable Irrigation Technician to join our Golf Course Maintenance team. This position is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the golf course irrigation and drainage systems. The Irrigation Technician plays a critical role in maintaining exceptional playing conditions by ensuring efficient water management and promoting healthy turf throughout the golf course.

Bounty Club is an invitation-only, 18-hole private golf club located in Whites Creek, just 13 minutes from downtown Nashville. Designed by King-Collins, the course spans 464 acres of Tennessee farmland and incorporates centuries-old creek systems, rolling meadows, and four elevated vantage points with unobstructed views of the Nashville skyline. Essential Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, maintain, and repair the golf course irrigation system.
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation heads, valves, piping, wiring, controllers, pumps, and related components.
- Monitor daily water usage and make irrigation adjustments based on weather conditions, soil moisture, and turf requirements.
- Perform preventative maintenance on irrigation equipment, controllers, and pump stations.
- Maintain accurate records of rainfall, water usage, irrigation repairs, and preventative maintenance activities.
- Assist with pump station operation, maintenance, and repairs.
- Maintain an organized inventory of irrigation parts, tools, and supplies.
- Keep the irrigation shop and parts room clean, organized, and well stocked.
- Operate irrigation heads manually in areas requiring supplemental watering.
- Assist with watering-in fertilizers and plant protectants under the direction of licensed personnel.
- Safely operate golf course maintenance equipment, utility vehicles, and light construction equipment.
- Assist with golf course improvement projects and other maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with the Golf Course Maintenance team to maintain exceptional course conditions.

Job Requirements
Experience with Rain Bird CirrusPRO™ irrigation software and Rain Bird 2-Wire irrigation systems is strongly preferred, including troubleshooting, programming, diagnostics, and field repairs.
Knowledge of irrigation controllers, valves, pumps, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
Basic understanding of turfgrass management principles.
Ability to safely operate golf course maintenance equipment.
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently while contributing to a team environment.
Interest in the game of golf is a plus.
Valid driver's license required.
Must be willing to work a schedule that includes every other weekend.
Must be available to work holidays as needed to support golf course operations.
Flexibility to adjust work hours based on weather conditions, irrigation demands, seasonal priorities, and club events is required.
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to respond to urgent irrigation issues when necessary.
