The Quechee Club is a private 36 hole championship golf and four season recreational community located in south central Vermont. The club is situated on 5,000 acres and also offers a small downhill ski area, X/C skiing, 11 tennis courts, 2 platform courts, indoor & outdoor pools, fitness center, 50 acre recreational lake, polo field, athletic fields etc. In addition, the "Upper Valley" area has lots of other outdoor recreational activities to offer along with the cultural offerings of Woodstock, Vermont and Dartmouth College, which is located just across the Connecticut River in New Hampshire.

We are looking for driven and motivated individuals who have the short term goal of becoming an assistant golf course superintendent and eventually a golf course superintendent. The qualities we value are a good work ethic, a keen eye with attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and willing to work overtime when necessary to provide our membership with the best quality product possible.

Our internships will be specifically tailored to the individuals' needs based on past experience and what they desire to focus on while interning. Interns will be required to obtain a Vermont State Pesticide applicators license while here and will become an integral part of our plant protectant applications program. In addition, interns will have some crew scheduling and leadership opportunities along with daily course set up & scouting, hand watering, irrigation repairs, project work, etc. Interns leave with a well rounded exposure to all facets of turfgrass management and successful interns are strongly considered for future employment opportunities that may arise along with being offered help in achieving their future career objectives.
