2027 Seasonal Intern *on site housing*
Job Details
The Creek is a private 18-hole golden age C.B. McDonald original design golf course. Located on Long Island's Gold Coast just 24 miles northeast of Manhattan, our club sits in the quiet community of Locust Valley.

Our golf course boasts three schools of thought in golf course architecture; parkland, inland, and coastal, offering candidates the opportunity to experience managing three different microenvironments. One of C.B. McDonald and Seth Raynor’s lesser known template holes #10 “Leven” was restored to its original design during the 2017 course restoration overseen by Gil Hanse, as well as the “Punchbowl” 6th (Top), “Reverse Redan” 8th, island “Biarritz” 11th (bottom), and the “Short” 17th.

We are seeking a dedicated turfgrass Intern for the 2026 season. Our internship program is designed to provide hands-on experience in providing our membership with championship quality conditions on a daily basis through: cultural practices, water management, plant protectant applications, crew leadership, and planning.
