Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pesticide Applicator to safely and effectively apply herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides to control pests and maintain healthy landscapes. The ideal candidate will follow all safety regulations, accurately mix and apply chemicals, and maintain proper documentation of all applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Mix and apply pesticides according to label instructions and safety guidelines

Operate and maintain spray equipment, including backpack sprayers and vehicle-mounted systems

Identify pests, weeds, and plant diseases to determine appropriate treatment methods

Monitor weather conditions to ensure safe and effective application

Maintain accurate records of pesticide usage, application locations, and conditions

Follow all federal, state, and local regulations regarding pesticide handling and application

Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Perform routine equipment inspections and cleaning

Communicate with supervisors and clients regarding treatment plans and results

Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe)
Knowledge of pesticide labels, safety procedures, and environmental regulations
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, and varying terrain
Work Environment:
Outdoor and field-based work environment
Exposure to chemicals with required safety precautions
May require early mornings, evenings, or weekend shifts depending on workload and season
