Aberdeen Golf & Country Club, a private member country club located in Boynton Beach, Florida, is seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of the Club’s golf course equipment fleet.
Overview
The Mechanic reports to the Director of Agronomy and is responsible for performing, coordinating, and documenting the daily maintenance and repair of all golf course equipment. This role ensures machinery is safe, operational, and properly serviced to support the success of the golf course maintenance team. The Mechanic also maintains a clean, organized shop environment and prioritizes safety in all tasks.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and service gas, diesel, electric, and small engines.
- Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems on John Deere, Toro, and Club Car equipment.
- Grind, bench-set, and adjust John Deere cutting units.
- Perform preventive maintenance and maintain accurate repair records.
- Keep the shop clean, safe, and organized.
- Communicate equipment needs or issues to the Director of Agronomy and perform on-course repairs as needed.

Job Requirements
At least 3 years of experience as golf course equipment mechanic.
Strong knowledge of engines, electrical, hydraulic, and small-equipment systems.
Proficient with cutting-unit grinding and setup.
Detail-oriented, organized, accountable, and able to work well with others.
Ability to read and understand English; bilingual a plus.
Valid driver's license and availability for partial weekend work.
