Superintendent – Amara Golf and Social Club
The Opportunity
Amara Golf and Social Club in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking a Golf Course Superintendent to join the leadership team for an exciting new golf course development. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in establishing the agronomic standards, culture, and operational systems for a new private golf facility.
The Superintendent will work closely with the Director of Agronomy (DOA) to oversee day-to-day golf course maintenance operations while helping establish turf conditions, build a strong team culture, and implement systems focused on accountability and excellence.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who can effectively lead a crew and operate with minimal supervision while contributing to the long-term success of a growing golf club.

Initial Priorities of Position
- Assist in establishing healthy and consistent turf across the property
- Help build and develop the maintenance team and culture
- Implement operational standards and accountability systems
- Support the Director of Agronomy with ongoing course development and renovation efforts
Key Responsibilities, Knowledge, Skills, and Aptitude
- Assist in managing all golf course maintenance operations
- Supervise and lead a maintenance team of full-time staff
- Execute agronomic programs for bentgrass greens and bermuda fairways
- Assist with irrigation system management and troubleshooting
- Coordinate daily maintenance scheduling and crew assignments
- Maintain high-quality playing conditions throughout the property
- Support ongoing construction and renovation initiatives
- Ensure safe and efficient equipment usage and maintenance
- Promote a positive, professional team culture within the maintenance department
Preferred Qualifications
- 4–7 years of golf course maintenance experience
- Experience in golf course construction, grow-in, or renovation preferred

Educational background in turfgrass management or related field preferred but not required
- Certificate
- Associate degree
- Bachelor’s degree
- Candidates with significant industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $105,000 – $120,000
