Atlantic Country Club, an established 18-hole semi-private golf facility located in Plymouth, Massachusetts, is seeking an experienced and motivated Golf Course Superintendent to oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance and agronomic operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who takes pride in delivering high-quality playing conditions while managing a dedicated maintenance team in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all daily golf course maintenance operations including turf health, mowing, course setup, and irrigation
- Develop and implement agronomic programs for greens, tees, fairways, and roughs
- Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff
- Manage and maintain irrigation systems and pump station operations
- Oversee chemical and fertilizer programs in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate pesticide application records and inventory
- Manage maintenance budgets, equipment, and supply purchasing
- Coordinate closely with golf operations and club management to ensure excellent course conditions

Job Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of golf course maintenance leadership experience
· Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain quickly
· Strong knowledge of cool-season turfgrass management in the Northeast
· Experience with irrigation systems and golf course maintenance equipment
· Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Qualifications
· Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
· Degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management or related field preferred
· Minimum 3–5 years of golf course maintenance leadership experience
· Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain quickly)
· Strong knowledge of cool-season turfgrass management in the Northeast
· Experience with irrigation systems and golf course maintenance equipment
· Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills
