In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the maintenance of the golf course(s) and the activities of the teammates. This includes monitoring job performance and daily playing conditions for quality standards, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the maintenance facility (including equipment, materials, and tools), participating in agronomic operations, and keeping accurate and timely records of all business activities.The ideal candidate will be a team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic.

Job Requirements
Perform, plan, and supervise routine maintenance activities as needed to include P1 (priority) tasks (mowing greens, changing cups, course set up, and raking bunkers) and P2 tasks (mowing fairways, tees, and rough).
Participate in the daily assignment of equipment to teammates and inspect for proper use, cleaning, and storage in assigned parking.
Stage designated equipment and tools to prepare for the following day.
Coordinate with mechanics to ensure preventative maintenance, repairs, and readiness of equipment fleet.
Participate in the daily monitoring of putting greens (moisture, firmness, green speed, and clipping yield) using measuring devices and recording data.
Observe and evaluate playing conditions (moisture, mowing quality, bunker raking, course set up) to take corrective action or report to Superintendent.
Form application of fertilizer and plant protectants to golf course turf through the safe and proper use of spray equipment.
Maintain effective teammate and public relations.
Monitor teammate uniforms (shirts, boots, helmets, and personal protective equipment) to provide service to the teammates and ensure compliance of uniform policy.
Assist the Superintendent in keeping records of maintenance activities, including but not limited to job tracking, and chemical and fertilizer applications as required by law.
Assist in the operation of the irrigation system by using Rainbird Control System and pump station operation, field observations, and scouting for proper moisture, sprinkler adjustments, and repairs.
Apply all products in compliance with manufacturer labels and Arizona State Laws.
Follow and comply with company and departmental safety policies to ensure a safe work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
A minimum 2-year turf certificate in turf grass management from a recognized college or university or 2 years of well-rounded golf course experience is required.
Must have a valid driver’s license with no traffic violations within the last 3 years.
