Vereens Stores is seeking a motivated and operationally focused Store Manager for our Kingstree, SC location. This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-volume fertilizer and turf supply operation serving golf courses, turf professionals, landscapers, retail customers, and the agricultural community throughout the region.

This role is heavily centered around logistics, inventory flow, and customer service. The Kingstree operation handles significant product movement from our fertilizer plant, making receiving accuracy, inventory control, and delivery coordination critical to success.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the seasonal demands of the turf and agriculture industries, and takes pride in running an efficient operation while building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day warehouse and store operations
• Oversee high-volume product receiving from the fertilizer plant
• Maintain inventory accuracy and operational organization
• Coordinate outbound deliveries and customer pickups
• Lead warehouse staff and manage scheduling
• Support golf course, turf, landscape, retail, and agricultural customers with exceptional service
• Maintain quality control and operational efficiency during peak seasonal demand
• Work closely with plant personnel, drivers, and customers to ensure smooth product flow

Qualifications

• Management or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in turf, fertilizer, agriculture, landscape supply, or distribution operations is highly valued
• Strong logistics and inventory management skills
• Ability to multitask and lead in a fast-paced seasonal business
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Forklift and warehouse operations experience preferred
