Mechanic

Foxborough Country Club is currently looking for new full-time mechanic. We know the timing is not great, but we will work with right candidate to make sure of a smooth transition. 

Foxborough CC is an 18-hole Semi-private golf only country club with not much activity in the winter. We are financially strong with excellent credit.  We have recently completed many capital improvements including new Toro irrigation system, new Watertronics pump station, new greens complex and pond dredging. We just hired an engineering company to design our new 15,000sq ft maintenance facility including offices, lunchroom, locker rooms, parts room, paint room, grinding room, mechanics area-including 2 lifts and hoist system and more. New mechanic will be heavily involved with design of new facility with modern amenities and technologies.  

Mechanic will work with hands on superintendent, 2 assistants, 2 full timers and 8-10 seasonal employees. Communication with all is very important. Good communication is a must for service needs, heights, grinding schedule, etc. Mechanic will work within a yearly operating budget and have proactive management style. We also know that S#*t happens and sometimes out of our control. We will work together to plan a 5-year replacement program to keep equipment current. Last 5 years we have purchased Toro 4700, Toro 3150Q, Toro 3555, Toro Sidewinder, Agrimetal Roller, Maredo seeder boxes, Toro 175 and 300 gallon sprayers, Pronovost Trailer and more. We currently have a 4 year lease programs (2026-2029) with Toro and Club Car for our daily use equipment-fairway machines, greens mowers, sidewinder and 10 utility carts. We do have some old pieces but all in working condition thanks to our hard working past mechanics.
