Mechanic/Equipment shop manager
Job Details
Golf course mechanic/shop manager is responsible for the repair, service, grinding of reels and bed knifes and small engines. Perform routine maintenance on all equipment and maintenance carts. Clubhouse carts are leased and have a service contract with them.
This is a full time year round position and plays a crucial role in the daily operation of one of the states best public golf courses.
Duties include:
Routine daily maintenance, and preventive maintenance
Daily cut of reel mowers, Height of cut, sharpen and grind reels as needed
Diagnose and repair equipment as needed, including all turf equipment, Mowers, tractors, carts and small engines.
Perform scheduled maintenance, oil changes, lubrication and all other preventative maintenance
Provide accurate records of all maintenance and repair work done to equipment.
Ordering and stocking of parts and filters as needed.
Keep a clean and safe shop.

Salary Range
From $21 to $29 per hour
