The Role
We're hiring a Territory Sales Manager to grow our Northern California golf and sports turf division. You’ll represent turf equipment lines including Baroness, Redexim, and other leading brands.
You'll be the face of Cal Turf to superintendents, sports field managers, and grounds professionals from the Bay Area to the Oregon line and be the person they call when they need new equipment, want a demo, or have a problem on the course or the field.
This is a true field sales role. Most of your week will be spent on golf courses, sports complexes, and customer properties, not behind a desk. You’ll quote, demo, negotiate, and support customers while building long-term relationships throughout the territory.

Cal Turf is a golf and sports equipment dealership headquartered in Tulare, CA. We sell and service equipment used by California's golf courses, sports fields, and parks. We carry top lines in the industry, backed by a strong parts and service department. We have been a family-owned and operated organization since 1984.
What You'll Do
● Manage the Northern California territory as your own book of business — golf courses (public, private, municipal, resort) and sports field operations (school districts, colleges, parks departments, sports complexes)
● Build and maintain relationships with superintendents, assistant supers, sports turf managers, athletic directors, and the decision-makers above them
● Develop new business through cold calls, site visits, demos, referrals, industry events, and relationship networking.
● Run demos on customer property — you'll be comfortable driving and operating the equipment yourself
● Quote, structure financing or municipal lease options, and close deals on capital equipment and fleet packages
● Coordinate with our parts and service teams in Tulare to make sure customers get supported after the sale
● Stay in front of bid season for public agencies — know the fiscal calendars, know who's spending what, and be there when budgets get cut loose
● Hit annual revenue and unit targets across new equipment, used, and parts

Job Requirements
● A network in the Northern California golf and sports turf community.
● Comfort selling capital equipment with longer sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and procurement processes (especially for public agencies)
● Clean driving record and willingness to live and work in territory (Bay Area / Sacramento corridor preferred)
