Position Summary
This role as Sales Representative is to actively seek, manage, and support new and existing Frost customers. This role is supported by marketing and technical support staff and requires an ability to communicate technical information effectively. It requires a highly motivated individual with the interest in frequent travel across the United States.
Key Responsibilities
• Be a personal connection to Frost customers
• Generate quotes and follow up using CRM tools
• Organize and conduct product demonstrations
• Attend and participate in industry events and trade shows
• Participate in GCSAA national and select chapter membership
• Participate in presentation and speaking opportunities
Qualifications
A degree in turf, agronomic, or business related field is preferred. Experience in the golf/turf industry for at least 3-5 years in professional turf management and/or sales is required. A driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
Skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are a must. Communication skills with both support staff and customers are also key. Must have intermediate PC and web-based computer skills and be comfortable and curious learning new tools and technologies. This position requires self-motivation to work independently and with the support team.
