Miakka Turf is seeking a shop manager to oversee equipment maintenance, shop operations, and repair scheduling in support of daily sod production and farm operations in Myakka City, Florida.
Responsibilities Include:
* Supervise mechanics and shop personnel
* Oversee maintenance and repair of farm equipment and vehicles
* Manager shop workflow, inventory and service records
* Support safe, efficient, and reliable farm operations

Experience Requirements
* Leadership experience in agriculture, mechanics, or heavy equipment operations
* Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
* Experience with equipment diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance
* Welding and fabrication experience preferred
*Bilingual preferred but not required
