As a Spray Technician with Mr. Greenkeeper, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional turf care through sound agronomic practices, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service. You'll manage an established residential service route, diagnose turf health concerns, apply fertilizers and pesticides with precision, and represent our company with professionalism and integrity at every property you visit.
Beyond providing exceptional service, you'll also have the opportunity to help grow the business. This includes building relationships with homeowners, identifying opportunities for additional services, networking within the community, and contributing to efforts to expand our customer base. Job Expectations and Duties:
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides safely and accurately in accordance with product labels, state regulations, and industry best practices.
- Diagnose turf health concerns, including weeds, insects, diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and environmental stress, and implement appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform preventative and curative applications for turf, shrubs, and household pest control services.
- Evaluate turf and landscape conditions during each service visit and report observations and treatment recommendations.
- Operate, inspect, and maintain spray equipment, spreaders, and company vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Maintain accurate application records and service documentation.
- Build strong customer relationships by providing expert recommendations on irrigation, mowing, cultural practices, plant health, and pest prevention.
- Proactively generate new business by networking, identifying sales opportunities, asking for referrals, and educating prospective customers on the value of our services.
- Contribute to the continued growth of the company by promoting additional services that genuinely benefit the customer.
- Represent Mr. Greenkeeper with professionalism, integrity, and pride in every customer interaction.
- Report to the company location each morning prepared to safely and professionally complete the day's route.

Job Requirements
Strong knowledge of turfgrass management, plant health, and integrated pest management principles.
Proof of Green Industry Best Management Practices (GI-BMP) training course completion, or willingness to complete course within the first month of employment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to handle heavy lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (especially the Florida heat) and available to work Monday through Friday.
A growth mindset and interest in taking on more responsibility over time
Able to pass a background check and qualified to work in the U.S.
