Territory Manager – Golf
Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Territory Manager in Southeast Florida to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with golf course superintendents and other key decision-makers. You will promote and sell a comprehensive line of high-quality turf care products, including fertilizers, chemicals, accessories, and other agronomic inputs.
To better serve our South Florida partners, we are excited to announce the opening of a new warehouse location in Palm Beach County and the utilization of our dedicated delivery fleet to ensure timely and reliable service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Account Management:
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the golf course market.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with golf course superintendents along lawncare operators.
- Leverage our new Palm Beach County warehouse and company delivery truck to provide superior product availability and fulfillment speed.
- Maintain relationships with key vendor partners via ride-a-longs, focus groups and regional seminars.
- Attend all scheduled sales meetings, conferences, training seminars and local Superintendent Association meetings
- Provide expert product knowledge and technical support to customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations and trials.
- Monitor market trends.
- Customer Service:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to customers on product usage and best practices.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and build brand loyalty.
- Technical Expertise:
- Possess a strong understanding of turfgrass science and agronomy.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Provide valuable insights and recommendations to customers on turf care programs.
- Administrative Duties:
- Participate in industry trade shows and events.
- Maintain accurate sales records and customer information in CRM system.
- Prepare reports on sales activity and market trends.
