About Us
We are launching a new turf division backed by the stability, reputation, and customer base of an established business. As we grow, we’re looking for motivated individuals who take pride in their work, manage their time well, and want to be part of building something from the ground up.
Position Overview
The Turf Specialist will be responsible for providing high‑quality turf treatment and maintenance services for residential and commercial clients. This role requires independence, reliability, and professionalism, with an emphasis on safe and compliant application of lawn care products.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply turf treatments including herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers according to label requirements and state regulations.
- Manage daily route, schedule, and time effectively to complete all assigned jobs.
- Maintain detailed records of applications, materials used, and service notes.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including PPE usage and chemical handling.
- Develop relationships with new and existing customers
- Recommend fertilizers, seed, chemicals, and other turf management products
- Diagnose turf issues (weeds, pests, nutrient deficiencies) and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Manage inventory and merchandising of turf products
- Work closely with vendors and manufacturers

Experience Requirements
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent time management skills and self motivation.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain).
• Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for customers.
• Basic computer skills

Educational Requirements
• Degree or experience in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, or related field
• Experience with golf course, sports turf, lawn care, or landscape management

Special Requirements
C03 Commercial Applicator License (required or ability to obtain before start date).
