2027 Assistant-in-Training

Wianno Club is a historic private country club overlooking the Nantucket Sound on Cape Cod. We are seeking motivated Assistants-in-Training (AITs) to join our Golf Course Maintenance team for the 2027 season.

AITs will gain hands-on experience in all areas of golf course management, including course setup, mowing, rolling, equipment operation, irrigation and hand-watering, fertilizer and pesticide applications, crew leadership and scheduling, and various other projects.

AITs will work closely with the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendents, Equipment Manager, Spray Technician, and Irrigation Technician, learning every aspect of our operation. To prepare for future leadership roles, AITs will have the opportunity to lead the crew for one week during the summer, simulating the role of an Assistant Superintendent.

We strive to create a comprehensive learning environment where interns can build both technical and leadership skills. New ideas and fresh perspectives are always encouraged. Our goal is to help you grow into an Assistant Superintendent—and one day, a Superintendent.
