Holly Tree Country Club is a private club located in Simpsonville SC, just outside of Greenville. The course was designed by George Cobb and opened in 1973.  In addition to a driving range, putting green, and chipping green, Holly Tree Country Club also offers a private skills area and short course.

We are undergoing a major course renovation that started in the Fall of 2025. The scope of this project included: greens complexes redesigned, new better billy bunkers, laser level all tee surfaces along with adding new tees, new naturalized areas will be installed, remedial design work on select holes, new irrigation, and some necessary tree work. Other minor upgrades will be completed as well. Greens surfaces were rebuilt to USGA specs and sprigged with TifEagle. Tahoma 31 was installed around all greens and tees. All tees are laser leveled. All greenside and fairway bunkers will be redesigned/repositioned and built back to Better Billy Bunker specs. New irrigation system installation with Toro Lynx 2 wire. Projected opening day is September. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to advance in their career with renovation experience as he/she will be involved in all aspects of this project.
