EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

Sewickley Heights Golf Club is seeking a Head Mechanic/Equipment Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to showcase their skillset at one of the premier clubs in Western Pennsylvania.

Located in Bell Acres, PA, Sewickley Heights Golf Club is a private club committed to continuous improvement. This position is responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and overall management of the golf course equipment fleet. The role works closely with the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendents, and Grounds Staff to ensure the operation runs efficiently, safely, and at a high standard each day.

We are seeking a candidate who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated to continually improve and modernize the equipment management program.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, diesel, gasoline and small engine systems.
• Grind and adjust reels, bedknives, and rotary blades.
• Maintain accurate service records and necessary tracking documents.
• Assist with equipment setup and preparation for daily course maintenance.
• Maintain an organized and safe equipment facility.
• Manage, track, and order parts inventory.
• Communicate equipment needs effectively.
• Help evaluate fleet condition and contribute to long-term equipment planning.
• Assist the grounds staff operational need when necessary.
• Apply yourself to our team environment, ensuring our collective goal is reached.

Salary:

• $65,000 to $85,000 per year

Recently signed a new John Deere lease package including sprayers, rough units, fairway units, carts, etc. etc. We are expecting leased equipment to arrive in October with fairway units arriving late May 2026.
