Job Overview
We are seeking hardworking, dependable laborers to support an active golf course construction project in West Philadelphia. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in physical work, and can thrive in a team-oriented environment. Laborers will report directly to the assigned project site each day and assist with a variety of construction and grounds-related tasks to help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Schedule Requirements
- Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday
- Occasional Saturday hours may be required based on project demands
- Daily reporting to the West Philadelphia project site is required
Key Responsibilities
- Assist crew members with daily golf course renovation and construction activities
- Perform general labor tasks including:
- Shoveling and site cleanup
- Cleaning and preparing trenches
- Installing drainage pipe and related materials
- Preparing ground surfaces and installing sod
- Safely operate equipment including:
- Utility carts
- Sod cutters
- Tampers
- Material haulers
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance including:
- Checking fluid levels
- Greasing equipment
- Performing minor repairs and upkeep
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality control standards
Job Requirements
• Ability to perform physically demanding labor and lift heavy materials
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Experience with landscaping, construction, drainage, or golf course maintenance is preferred but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team environment
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
