Mobile Equipment Technician

Position Overview

Turf Products Corp is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Mobile Service Technician to provide on-site service, diagnostics, and repairs for turf equipment. This position supports golf courses and commercial turf customers throughout Western Connecticut and Westchester County, NY. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience in the golf or turf industry, and the ability to work independently from a fully equipped service vehicle.

Applicants must reside within the service area.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance on turf equipment
• Service and support Toro and Ventrac equipment
• Work extensively with reel mowers, rotary mowers, and turf sprayers
• Perform reel mower setup, adjustment, and troubleshooting
• Service, calibrate, and repair turf sprayers and related systems
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Respond to service calls at golf courses and commercial turf accounts
• Accurately complete service reports, work orders, and parts documentation
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding equipment condition, repairs, and maintenance recommendations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized service vehicle

Preferred Qualifications

• Golf course maintenance or turf equipment experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Toro and/or Ventrac equipment
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Reel mowers
  • Turf sprayers
  • Gas and diesel engines
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Electrical diagnostics
• Ability to work independently and manage daily service routes
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• MUST PASS DRUG TEST

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and use of hand and power tools
