Becky Bowling, Ph.D., assistant professor and turfgrass extension specialist at the University of Tennessee, discusses the third annual Beach job fair for students in the university’s turfgrass management program.
The event not only connects UT students with potential employers, but includes students from the University of Georgia, North Carolina State University, Horry-Georgetown Technical College, Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and the USGA’s Greenkeeper Apprenticeship Program.
The discussion includes a format change for this year’s event designed to promote further interaction between students and potential employers, and what lies ahead for future Beacon events.
