Job Details

Brookake C.C. is a privately held private Club opened in 1923 originally designed by Herbert Strong. The Club has since employed the services of Cornish, Silva & Mungeem for Master Plan and redesign. The course has Bent/ Poa Greens, Tees & Fairways. Rainbird irrigation system installed 2002. In house construction project occur in off- season.  Brooklake is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary and has a strong IPM philosophy.   

Qualified candidate will assist the Superintendent in all phases of the Courses operation. The Assistant will be responsible for supervising the crew of 18, course set-up, record keeping, and safety program. The Assistant will also assist in pesticide and fertilizer applications, monitoring and watering.

Job Requirements

Experience Requirements
Previous management experience preferred with emphases on team building strategies. Knowledge and experience in disease identification. Experience in cool season turfgrass environment.
Educational Requirements
Minimum of 2-year degree/certificate from accredited Turf Management Program. 2 years experience in a management capacity. Candidate must have or be willing to obtain NJ Commercial Pesticide Applicator License.
Special Requirements
Applicant must provide a letter of recommendation from current employer or prior employer at time of interview.

Salary Range

From $79,000 to $83,000 per hour
