Job Details
- Coordinates with the Superintendent and supervises staff members as needed
- Performs routine maintenance tasks as needed
- Ensures proper calibration and safe operation of all spraying/fertilizing equipment
- Maintains chemical storage and mixing areas in compliance with governmental regulations
- Remains up-to-date in knowledge of chemicals/fertilizers that are being applied and general continuing education
- Maintains all records as required by regulating authorities
- Ensures all company policies and procedures are followed including compliance with government regulations
- Responsible for ensuring the safety and direction of chemical/fertilizer handlers and/or helpers
- Supervises and assists maintenance staff in daily duties. Assists with interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems
- Daily Irrigation monitoring, scheduling, general maintenance and upkeep
- Harbors a team first mentality that builds a top flight golf & grounds maintenance team
- Understands customer service and meeting expectations for owners, guests, and members
- Performs other duties as needed
