Tradition Golf Club is a world-renowned Arnold Palmer design set against the Santa Rosa Mountains in La Quinta, California. The 200-acre property consists of a championship 18-hole course and a 9-hole Par-3 course. The Championship course is consistently ranked in Golf Digest’s Second 100 Greatest Golf Courses. The club is recognized as a Top 25 Best Golf Club by Platinum Clubs of America. Many improvements have been made including a greens resurfacing with MiniVerde ultradwarf Bermudagrass, offering prospective candidates the opportunity to gain experience with both overseeded greens and ultradwarf Bermudagrass on one property. We have over 100 acres of yearly overseeded turf, as well as 97 acres of landscape, offering a great opportunity to learn multiple agronomic facets of the industry.
The Assistant Superintendent will be an integral part of a strong agronomic team that strives to provide championship level conditioning on a daily basis for our membership and guests. Assistants will work strongly as a team directly with maintenance staff, fellow Assistants, and the Golf Course Superintendent, and share many of the same responsibilities.
Candidates will have the opportunity to be a part of a successful maintenance staff and assist with the implementation of new technology and practices.
