Coral Creek Club is seeking a Golf Course Superintendent who can build upon the Club’s strong foundation while helping guide its next chapter of agronomic planning, team development, infrastructure evaluation, and continuous course improvement.

This is an opportunity for a motivated, forward-thinking leader to make a meaningful impact at a golf-first private club where course conditioning, communication, and the overall member golf experience are central to the Club’s identity.

The Golf Course Superintendent will oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance operations, including agronomic planning, turfgrass management, irrigation and water management, budgeting, equipment management, daily course presentation, and team leadership. The successful candidate will be expected to evaluate current programs, establish clear priorities, communicate effectively with Club leadership, and lead the department with professionalism, consistency, and accountability.

Working collaboratively with the General Manager/Chief Operating Officer, Golf Professional staff, and Club leadership, the Superintendent will play a key role in maintaining Coral Creek’s golf-first culture while executing programs that support exceptional playing conditions, environmental stewardship, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability.

Coral Creek Club offers a competitive compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience, qualifications, credentials, and demonstrated leadership ability.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $225,000 – $300,000; however, final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s background, industry experience, and overall fit for the role.

Compensation discussions will take place during the interview process as the candidate pool is narrowed to finalist candidates.

Benefits include, but are not limited to, meal allowance, cell phone allowance, clothing/uniform allowance, participation in the Club’s 401(k) program, and support for continuing education, professional development, and applicable association dues and fees.

Job Requirements

Experience Requirements
The ideal candidate will have no less than five years of proven experience as a Golf Course Superintendent at a high-quality private club.

Strong agronomic knowledge, particularly with warm-season turfgrass in Florida or similar growing environments.

Demonstrated ability to produce consistent, high-level playing conditions.

Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Experience developing and managing annual operating budgets.

Experience contributing to long-term capital planning and agronomic planning.

Strong understanding of irrigation, drainage, water management, fertility, pest management, and cultural practices.

Experience managing irrigation systems, effluent water, water quality challenges, and moisture management is strongly preferred.

A commitment to staff development, accountability, safety, and team building.

Strong attention to detail and pride in daily course presentation.

The ability to communicate clearly with Club leadership, staff, members, vendors, and industry partners.

A Florida pesticide applicator license, or the ability to obtain one.

GCSAA membership and certification are preferred but not required.
Educational Requirements
A degree or certificate in turfgrass management, agronomy, horticulture, or a related field is preferred.
