APOGEE is the vision & passion project of two highly successful businessmen, Mr. Michael Pascucci & Mr. Stephen Ross. APOGEE is a 1200-acre, high-end, private golf club with country club amenities such as a pool, spa, fitness, racquet sports & fishing. The club is located in Hobe Sound, FL & will have two clubhouses with world-class food & beverage, 50+ overnight cottages & a state-of-the-art golf performance center. It will be a club without peers in the south Florida area.
APOGEE’s golf entails three 18-hole golf courses. The West Course, designed by Gil Hanse & Jim Wagner, opened in December of 2023. The team of Tom Fazio II & Mike Davis, who also oversee the in-house golf construction team, has designed & built the South Course along with a 55-acre, 360-degree driving range, 5-acre short game area that opened in November of 2024 to rave reviews. There is also a 7-hole (short) Wee Course & a Himalayas-style putting green that is overseeded & lit for evening use in our winter/spring season.
The third 18-hole golf course (North Course) has been designed by Kyle Phillips & has just recently opened it consists of 110 acres of Tifgrand, fairway cut shortgrass. A second Short Course (12-hole) is in the grassing phase & will open in the spring of 2026.
Working with the Director of Agronomy & Equipment Director, we are excited to welcome another Assistant Equipment Technician to our team. Candidates must be detail orientation, a self-starter, a LEADER & not afraid to be a voice in the GCM Department.

Job Requirements
-Knowledge of John Deere equipment preferred by not required
-Experience with construction & grow-in bermudagrass preferred at a high-end facility
-Possession of a valid driver's license
-Strong knowledge of the operation of internal combustion engines & mower grinding, sharpening & adjustments
-Maintains a preventive maintenance program within budget on all equipment & purchases repair parts & replacement supplies
-Spot checks equipment for performance on the course, makes emergency repairs to equipment on the course & services or supervises servicing of equipment prior to use
-Excellent working knowledge of applicable state & federal regulations about equipment, petroleum & all other products used at the maintenance facility.
-Proficient in interpreting repair manuals, instruction sheets, hydraulic & electrical schematics
-Torching/Welding repairs to equipment
-Ensures optimal quality of cut for all playing surfaces daily
-Open mind, willingness to learn & adapt with completing construction phases
