Edgewood Tahoe is currently seeking Turfgrass Interns to join our team for the 2027 season.

Internship Program Goals

The goal of our internship program is to help develop the next generation of turfgrass professionals by providing interns with the knowledge, resources, hands-on experience, and professional development opportunities needed to succeed and become future leaders in the industry. We encourage each intern to establish personal and professional goals in the various aspects of golf course maintenance and management. As managers, we are committed to providing the guidance, mentorship, and experiences necessary to help you achieve those goals and reach your full potential. Ultimately, our goal is for each intern to complete the program with the skills, knowledge, confidence, and practical experience necessary to pursue an assistant or managerial position within the golf course maintenance industry.

Turfgrass interns can expect to be involved in:

· Daily management practices (course set up, mowing, scouting, etc.)

· Fertility management (calibration, application, planning)

· Irrigation management (tournament moisture management, troubleshooting, seasonal adjustments, irrigation repair and installation)

· Cultivation practices

· Televised tournament preparations (American Century Championship)

· Leadership Training

Requirements:

· Must be currently enrolled in a Turfgrass/ Agronomy Degree Program.

· Must be self-motivated with a keen eye for detail and have a willingness to learn.

· Previous experience in golf course maintenance a plus, but not necessary.
