Bernhard and Co., recently named Casey Madden as sales manager for the company’s southeast region in North America.
A former golf course greenkeeper and equipment manager, Madden began his career on the grounds crew before transitioning into the maintenance facility as the head technician at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant, Louisiana.
It was as an equipment manager where he developed his expertise in grinding equipment and reel maintenance.
In his new role, Madden will be responsible for providing support with Bernhard customers throughout the Southeast.
“Casey’s journey through the industry, from grounds crew to equipment management, gives him a genuine understanding of the challenges turf professionals face every day,” said Steven Nixon, Bernhard’s managing director.
“His passion for our products, combined with his practical experience, makes him a fantastic addition to the team.”
Madden will be based in Louisiana.
“My career has been built around maintaining the highest standards on the golf course,” Madden said, “and I’ve seen first-hand the difference that the right equipment can make. (S)o I’m excited to now be in a position where I can help others achieve those same results.”
