For those who want to shorten the time it takes to maintain large landscaped areas, Kress is expanding its robotics portfolio with the KR804 Voyager 60, an autonomous zero-turn mower with a 5-foot cutting deck.
Designed for route-based operations, the KR804 features a one-time, manual mapping process that establishes property boundaries, pathways and no-go zones. Once mapped, the Voyager can handle mowing while its human colleagues can focus on other more detail-oriented tasks.
The KR804 combines real-time kinematic (RTK) technology, LiDAR, VisionAI and an advanced suite of sensors to deliver Level 5 autonomy, boundary-wire-free operation and centimeter-level mowing accuracy. Its 360-degree multi-sensor system detects and avoids obstacles while navigating mapped properties autonomously.
With its 60-inch cutting deck and mowing capacity of up to 2.5 acres per hour, the KR804 is engineered to take on larger areas and maximize time crew members can spend on other duties. Increased battery capacity provides all-day runtime and coverage of up to 19 acres on a single charge.
