Redexim recently launched its Rink Sandstorm 28 spreader for use with towing vehicles of all sizes.
The self-powered disc spreader does not require hydraulics and can be used with everything from heavy-duty pickups to utility vehicles. No tractor or hydraulics needed. It is specifically compatible for use with the Toro Workman, John Deere ProGator, Cushman Truckster and more.
The Rink Sandstorm 28 comes standard with Redexim’s Vision X digital display that allows operators for complete control from the towing vehicle.
With an empty weight of 1,687 pounds, the spreader has a minimum power requirement of 25 hp from the towing vehicle with a top towed speed of 16 mph. The Rink Sandstorm has a 211-gallon hopper and a spread radius of up to 39 feet. Multiple setting options allow the user to control the spread diameter and thickness from 0.02 inches to 0.6 inches.
It also is built to handle wet sand and heavy materials without clogging.
Redexim also offers the tractor-compatible Rink DS800 Trailed and Rink DS1600 Hybrid model spreaders.
