To better serve its high-volume customers, SiteOne Landscape Supply recently opened a new agronomic distribution center in central Tennessee, the first of what it says will be many in a planned series of facilities nationwide.
The new 25,000-square-foot center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, will be a distribution hub for the company’s golf, landscape, lawn care and erosion-control customers within a three-hour radius of the Nashville area.
SiteOne describes the center a next-general distribution model. It is one of several centers that the company says will come online this year. By focusing on specific agronomic products and targeted locations, the centers allow for deeper inventory levels and competitive pricing at scale. This model is built for professionals managing high-volume operations where timing, efficiency and supply certainty are critical, the company says.

“We’ve seen firsthand that as our customers grow, their needs change. In some cases, they outgrow the traditional branch model,” said Dan Carrothers, vice president of agronomic business development at SiteOne. “These agronomic centers meet customers at that next stage, whether they’re running two trucks or 30. As their needs shift to larger, more complex orders, we’re providing a simpler, more predictable and cost-effective way to manage high-volume demand.”
Additional agronomic centers are planned in key U.S. markets, with another three expected to open this year. Together with SiteOne’s existing branch network, these facilities will give agronomic customers more flexibility by combining bulk delivery capabilities with the convenience of local branches for day-to-day needs.
“Our goal is to be the partner our customers can rely on from day one through every stage of growth,” Carrothers said. “Whether it’s a first purchase out of a branch or bulk orders at our agronomic centers, we’re building the capabilities to support them as their business evolves.”
