Syngenta recently named Trevor Watson as its territory manager for part of the company’s northeast region.
Based in Philadelphia, Watson will work with customers throughout New Jersey and parts of eastern New York and Pennsylvania to provide agronomic recommendations, product guidance, solutions and support.
“Trevor’s strong technical background and passion for customer success make him an outstanding addition to our team,” Joe Cassidy, Northeast district manager for Syngenta Professional Solutions said in a news release. “Additionally, his experience working with turf professionals throughout the mid-Atlantic and Northeast makes him well-suited to deliver valuable insights and trusted support to our customers in this region.”
Watson brings a diverse background in turfgrass science, technical services and customer education.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in turfgrass science from Penn State University and a master’s degree in plant biology from Rutgers University, where he conducted turfgrass weed science research as a graduate research assistant.

Most recently, Watson worked for Arborjet | Ecologel where he served as technical manager for its Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions, developing initiatives and providing technical guidance. Prior to that position, he served as technical operations agronomist for Lawn Doctor, providing guidance and solutions for more than 270 franchises, as well as operational, service and field roles with TruGreen and BrightView Landscapes.
“Throughout my career, I’ve enjoyed translating technical knowledge into practical solutions that deliver results for turf and landscape customers,” Watson said in the news release. “I’m thrilled to join the Syngenta team, and I look forward to using my experience to help customers throughout the region achieve their goals.”
